NadiesAngel is wishing it was easier
Way to go!
TV rots our brains, lol. If i wasn’t so into my online classes I’d get rid of my computer too. :0)
How I did it: At university residence it was difficult to watch TV, but I still did watch at friends' houses or when I went home for vacations. Then I moved in with housemates, and we agreed not to fix the broken TV. I was predisposed to stop but hadn’t committed to the idea, and this arrangement made it easy for me.I still watch DVDs, movies and online video, when I choose to go looking for it. What I didn’t like was my impulse to “see what’s on” or watch whatever someone else was watching.
Lessons & tips: If I were to give myself advice in a different situation, I’d suggest packing up (and eventually selling) the TV. Get rid of it, and the ability to fall back into the habit, and you’ll find you can do without it.
