How to go vegan
"I am so glad that I finally chose to do this, I am healthier, happier and more aware of what I am putting into my body, and it is cruelty-free!"
How I did it: I've been vegetarian since I was 6 years old and about a month and a half ago I decided that being Vegan was the way to go. I no longer wanted to lie to myself that milk, eggs and other animal products were not hurting the animals. My friend and I made the decision together to at least try it for a week( you can do anything for one week, right?) so we did it, and it felt good.
Lessons & tips: You have to be pro-active. I am still working on this, but finding recipes to try, looking up information on the web, being creative at restaurants and in your own home. It is a sacrifice, but one that makes you healthier and happier.
