How to join the World Wildlife Fund
How I did it: I went to the website of the World Wildlife Fund Australia to see their membership options. Unfortunately they don't have "memberships" so you cannot technically "join" the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) but they do have many ways you can be a supporter. You can make an annual donation, adopt an animal for a year, or be a monthly donor. When you have chosen which suits you, you are then invited to join to receive the WWF-Australia's Monthly e-newsletter to keep up to date with all that is going on and so you can be an active supporter of the work the WWF do.
Lessons & tips: Make sure you work out which package suits your budget before you become a supporter, and perhaps consider volunteering your time if money is an issue. All help, even signing petitions, makes a difference.
Resources: Communicating with the support relations team via the "Contact Us" link helped me in learning what the WWF does and how I could best support them. They even sent out a welcome booklet so I could learn more about what the WWF do. If you have questions the teams are friendly and helpful. I recommend you contact your countries WWF with your questions.
