How I did it: I just hooked up with an old high school teacher of mine who let me hang around his classroom and learn the drums as long as I did some filing every now and again for him. He taught me some things and I learned a lot. I can now drum basic rock beats, jazz beats, blues beats and country beats. I am going to keep going with this so I can be a better drummer.
