How I did it: I actually ended up not moving into an apartment so I took a months rent from that and put it to a plane ticket! It was pretty cheap actually.
Lessons & tips: wear sunscreen. Go in May. Hang out with friends. Hollywood is a tourist trap. But the Hollywood sign, price is right and Beaches are awesome!!!
Resources: One of my best friends from high school. Her Boyrfriend drove us everywhere.
