How to learn Ruby

How I did it: I scoured the internet for all the free resources I could find. Though many I found were good, none were quite what I needed to say I had "learned" the language. I decided to buy a book and after reading, I felt much more confidant in my abilities.
I wrote a few games with the Gosu and Rubygame libraries and am still doing so now
Lessons & tips: Though there are many free resources on the internet, many can't beat a published book.
Also, though what you may learn in a book can be good, you don't really know the material until you start using what you've learned
