How I did it: I was not alone, the board president and myself, I'm the secretary, decided to save our association some money and do our own landscaping. We had 42 dead or dying plants that looked bad. I offered to get some FREE hostas from my sis and a friend and we went to work. The hardest part was digging out the dead stuff and my son provided his muscle and did the job and without pay!! Although I did treat him to a BBQ rib dinner!

Lessons & tips: The lesson is how to save money by getting feebies and to have a son as awesome as mine is.

Resources: Our resource was Home Depot where we did have to buy 10 plants. We bought small ones and in time our building will look great.
