How to become a runner
How I did it: I went to the gym and I got myself a membership, then I simply went everyday and I set myself weekly goals to meet on the treadmill, such as "run half a mile, walk, run another half mile". The challenges kept me interested and motivated, and running every week.
Lessons & tips: Set yourself goals. Even if you can't run very far, decide each week what you want to accomplish, such as how far you want to run or how fast or how long, but be realistic.
Resources: The treadmill at the gym and some motivational music.
