How I did it: Keep up with the current trend of social networking by using it! Sign up for accounts with Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, etc.
Use Twitter, Facebook (don't really like it but I jumped into it for a
couple of weeks to test it out), and test out the other social
networking programs. See how they work. Think how you can make them
work for you. Visit RSS and Twitter links in your subjects you like -
while you're reading about the things you like, you're learning how to
use the technology.
Lessons & tips: Poke around on the menus and take time to know the
sites.
