How to refinance my house

"the whole process was one long cluster.... I'm glad it's over. I don't trust that the bank knows how to do math."
How I did it: called the bank. again & again & again.
Uhm -- there's a MINIMUM number of characters for this?
I called the bank, I emailed my 'service' representative, I called OTHER people at the bank, I called back when I didn't get an answer I liked.
Lessons & tips: don't trust the bank to do simple math, do your own calculations. Don't wait for the bank to get back to you, call them daily to see where things are (or you'll stall)
