How to set goals
How I did it:
a lot of self-awareness...getting to know my desires in life and going after them

While trying to get my life sorted out in terms of what i wanted to do with my life and where i was going in life...I needed to make daily to weekly to monthly goals for myself. I felt as though I wasn't really living for myself. I was just existing.
I always felt the pressure from my family and society to follow their paths. And if you really think about it there is a definate path. A basic path which is like "in the box" type of thinking or living. Go to school, get a career, it could be any career. Just do it. Then get married have kids, the cars, the house, oh and look here comes the grandkids running down the driveway to give you a hug. So that's the "basic" path....but when I say GoAls...I mean...Goals!!! having goals for yourself that are fun and to enrich your life. Giving life a purposeful meaning.
So now we have this very blazzay of a structure of how life is suppose to be.....now this is the part of goal setting...do you really want to be in the box? or out? jack-in-the-box? in and out, in and out? So this is what I had to figure out and how I did it.
