How to call my mom more often

How I did it: I just call every day! Since I do the calling, it is easy to end the conversation when I want with something like "Well, I was just calling to see how you were, ma, but I gotta go to ...blank..."
Lessons & tips: Even if you don't get along well, your mother wants to hear from you! Don't worry, she doesn't get offended when you end the call! She's probably busy, too! She just wants to know what you are up to!
