How to I will list 100 quotes to inspire me for those times I need inspiration. (Suggestions appreciated.)
How I did it: I used a box of quotes I've been gathering for years from people and poets I like, books, different websites, and the 43 Things site uses excellent quotes.
Lessons & tips: I haven't scratched the surface of all the great quotes out there. I didn't even get through my index card box of quotes because I found them from so many sources. Keep an open mind. Just because you don't agree with a quote doesn't mean you can't grow from thinking about it. It's practice for listening to people from all walks of life who may or may not have the same beliefs as you. I included quotes that some might find offensive or I didn't like. Why? No truth is too small or too big to be relevant in some way. Disagreeing or agreeing stretches your mind and ability to imagine all the possibilities out there.
Resources: Search engines to find sites like the Mother Teresa quote website, being a wide reader of many types of literature, writing down quotes I like on index cards for years.
