How to buy a bicycle
How I did it: well about 3 years ago I let a friend barrow my bike, long story short she left it at some kids house and the kid sold it? so I've been out of it for a while. This fall though I started thinking about buying a new bike but then when it came down to things I could not for the life of me figure out what I wanted it. Eventually I made a pro-con list, which didn't do me much good between a mountain or road bike. I ended up on Grieg's list for about 3 months checking it often to look for a bike, but then I found my new bike on the side of the road for 35$, which was the main reason I got it haha. But it's a great little vintage bike (we guess 30 years old??)
Lessons & tips: make a list! figure out what you personally are looking for. and figure out what the most important things are for you. Do you want a road bike? or a mountain bike? or a hybird? racing bike.. ect. Then figure out a price range. typically bikes are expensive I guess. Anyway my number one piece of advice, there are great USED bikes and ALOT cheaper than a brand new bike!
