How I did it: I just did everything step by step, and my patience was awarded recently.

Had to wait more than 5 months until the approval, because looks like backlog was shifted in favour of newer applications.

Had to endure additional year imposed by god damned Home Office for Work Permit Holder before ILR.

Even had to wait for redirected letter which could not be delivered home.

But I just was calm and patient and never gave up.

Then the ceremony was available only after a month, or pay more and get it in 8 days. I did not succumb and as a result had a ceremony with about 60 other people, so I could observe the ethnic composition of new British Citizens.

Now it will be time for passport, but my certificate is needed for my wife to get naturalised as well. Ah well, my passport will not get away from me.

Lessons & tips:

• Immigrants are always milked by endless Home Office establishments. It's just the way it is, don't waste your nerves on it.
• Be precise in your applications, so you won't have to send additional information; triple check your submissions, include further papers which you think even may be needed.
• Choose calm but sure ways to get your citizenship.
• Never lie to officials.
• Accumulate and save your papers until you're a citizen.
• Never assume the form is the same as 3 months before! Forms change.
• Do not delay your applications a single day. This may be the day which you will not have to squeeze before a devastating blow comes.
