How to have someone say about me, "she's a machine!"
"It didn't happen the way I thought. A guy said it to me on the phone about my mind and how I was explaining something. That was even cooler than about my body!""
How I did it: I was on the phone with a student and he was asking me questions. I was whipping off the answers very succinctly and sequentially with phone numbers, steps, everything. He stopped me at one point and said, "man, you're like a machine!"
Lessons & tips: Be concise and succinct when you speak. People don't remember what you say if you give details that are not needed. Be clear and to the point and only give extra details if asked or if it will help.
Resources: I just know my job well and can tell people how to do what they need to do in a way that is clear and concise without a lot of extraneous info they really don't need to know.
