How to get married in Las Vegas
How I did it: My husband and I decided we wanted to get married, and though we are both Catholic, we wanted a small civil ceremony before the big wedding. His parents had other ideas and offered to take us to Vegas to get married. How could someone pass that up?! We researched a lot of hotels and whatnot and eventually decided on the Stained Glass Wedding Chapel, right across from the Hard Rock hotel. I went with a pinup/rockabilly look and the intimate feel of the ceremony was amazing. Plus, we pretty much had our honeymoon right there! After a month of planning, the whole thing was amazing and totally worth it!
Lessons & tips: Do your research. This is not going to be our only wedding, so we didn't want to go "all out" for this ceremony. Look up other chapels that may not be so well-known in Vegas, especially those off the strip.
Resources: To book a vacation, I would recommend Southwest Vacations. I've used them a few times and love the convenience. Plus, I love flying Southwest.
