How to meet andrew mcmahon
How I did it: Working at Disney World for the semester, I went to a Jack's Mannequin concert in the city one night. It was at a small venue, so of course it was packed. Afterward, everyone cleared out pretty fast. His bus was parked in a lot about a block and a half away. My friend and I sat on the curb of the parking lot for a good hour before the band came out. After another 20 minutes, the security guard announced that Andrew McMahon would be signing autographs, but no pictures. When it was my turn, I asked him if he would mind taking a picture anyway, and he agreed. He was really awesome! Very real - not cocky at all, just honestly happy to meet fans.
Lessons & tips: It's worth the wait to achieve any dream, but sometimes you may have to travel to make it happen.
