How I did it: I had NO experience and my boyfriend is a farmer so I was bound and determined to make something come up.  Sure I killed a couple things out there, but they all came up.  I paid someone to tear up the ground near our house and planted lettuce, radishes, cucumbers, carrots, strawberries, tomatoes, potatoes, corn, squash, melons and beans!  Whew!  It's all coming up right now - we got our first strawberry today!  We are taking our food to the Farmers Market because there is too much for us!   Great way to make a little extra cash!

Lessons & tips: look online to see what you should plant near what and make sure that you wait until the last frost date to put anything out!
