How to give up soda
How I did it: Cold turkey. I was drinking a lot of soda. And my body was telling me - ENOUGH! By 2:00 I needed a nap, I was grouchy, not sleeping at night. I stopped and started drinking a glass of milk (good for the bones!), water and tea! (Skip the sweet tea!) I drink all kinds of organic herbal teas. 0 calories no sugar so better than the bottle water flavorings you can add. Plus you can get them for promoting healthy liver, keep away signs of aging, night time relaxation, mind alertness and SO much more. Plus drinking green tea ups your metabolism to burn an extra 80 - 240 calories a day. Without doing anything. Cool huh? The BEST thing I've done for my body hands down.
Lessons & tips: If you are trying to loose weight do as contestants on the Biggest Looser do...drink peppermint tea. It is so good and peppermint makes you feel full and to resist cravings!
