spreadyourwings apologises for being a bit rubbish with response times!!!!
Awwww!
How I did it: I fell in love with my husband, got married, and had our first child two years later. When Gabriel was 15 months old, we decided it was time to add another child to our family, and 9 months of joy and anticipation later, Shawn was born.
The story of Shawn's birth is public for all who would like to read it. It's lengthy, but you can find it at http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=476157444&blogId=493192287
Lessons & tips: Be as healthy as possible before conception, take a folic acid supplement daily before trying to conceive, find a midwife or doctor who respects you and your hopes for your baby, birth and body, read as much as you can on pregnancy and birth, eat well, drink LOTS of red raspberry leaf tea, get appropriate amounts of exercise and rest (or as best as you can), make time for yourself, remember to laugh and cherish the experience - you'll never be pregnant with your second child ever again!
