How to run a 50k Race!
"A great experience, ran the Buncombe Trail 34 Mile race on 3 May 09"
How I did it: Trained hard, and during the race I just ignored the pain. Please note - I said I trained hard, not smart. Anyone wishing to accomplish this needs more that two months running base. I tried doing 4-8 miles daily, then on my days off I'd go to Paris Mountain and run the trails there.
Lessons & tips: Left foot, then right foot - Keep repeating that.
