How to write everyday
How I did it: I write on Xanga and Soul Pankcake... I write people letters that I send or don't intend to ever send... I leave strangers notes on money and post-its... I write on just about anything in order to perhaps brighten someone's day, make them think a little harder about something, etc. It took a while to get into the routine, but I try to do it everyday. Every now and then I won't have time or won't be around a computer, but I try to make it priority. It just feels better to get things out where you can literally see it... not just think it.
Lessons & tips: Don't think about it too much. This goal isn't "write a novel everyday." It's simply just... writing... thoughts, feelings... no need to create some masterpiece that will be read years down the road and praised. Just do what eases your heart. Some times, the most I will do is something like.... "AHHHH! Can't find the words to say..."
