How to lose 15 pounds
How I did it: Weight watchters! And a lot of support from my friends. By now I've actually lost about 22 pounds with 50 to go - then I'm done!
The key changes in my life were tracking what I ate, working out more, learning to cook healtheir meals, and thinking about what I eat as part of a daily numerical value. The Points system really helped me to establish an idea of "healthy" and "unhealthy" that I will be able to carry with me for my whole life. Starting out with my friends also made a huge difference, as I like to externalize almost everything in my life and could reflect daily with my closest friends and most common eating companions.
Lessons & tips: Every tiny bit helps, everything that can be done to take care of oneself really is healthy progress in the right direction.
Resources: Weight Watchers gave me a sense of accountability, doing it with my friends gave me tons of support, and focusing on staying positive and taking care of myself to create a healthier lifestyle all kept me in check.
