How to do Not Read The News For 30 Days

How I did it: I avoided all news sites, headlines and gobbily goo news stories like they were the plague. Before I started this goal I would read the newspaper daily - from front to back. And then later in the day I would hop on the CNN site and read all the updates. It became very tiresome and I found it made me angry and irritated so one day I decided - hey I'm going to stop doing this! And I did.
Lessons & tips: Don't feel guilty for reading the occasional article - they can really suck you in sometimes. And if you need something to read with your Wheaties in the moring - there is always the comics.
