How to learn to slack line
"When I slackline, it is like meditation; it helps me rebalance my thoughts."
How I did it: I went slacklining as much as I could. I went every chance I had, and stayed for as long as I could. Once you get passed that first few steps, you just start walking farther and farther.
Lessons & tips: When you are getting ready to stand up on the line, don't put any weight on the foot resting on the line. That will help keep it from shaking. Then jump up all at once; no hesitation. Keep your eyes focused on the tree or the knot in front of you, not the line itself.
