How to spend a whole day reading a great novel.
How I did it: I do this all the time actually :) Especially when I find a particularly great book. Sometimes I take more than a day but if you add up the hours I spent reading, it works out to be a day. Haha.
1. Find your "great novel". It can be anything from a full-blown "literary classic" to a trashy Mills & Boon novel. Whatever takes your fancy.
2. Get yourself comfortable. I usually like to read curled up in bed or on on a long train trip. I like to make sure I'm content so I have a snack and a drink first, close my door and curl up. I hate being disturbed when I'm reading.
3. Read :) Don't feel bad if the book takes you longer than a day or if you have to stop halfway through for something. As much as a I hate doing it, sometimes you have to and life just gets in the way. Don't speed read, actually read and take it all in. Nothing worse than finishing a great novel and if someone asks you to describe the main character you go "Who?"
Lessons & tips: See above. :)
