How to read a book in a day
"I actually read this book in a couple of hours and loved every minute."
How I did it:
- Find your book. Mine was "The Tale of Desperaux" by Kate DiCamillo, the before-movie version :) I had been wanting to read this book ever since I saw the movie trailer and was definitely surprised. The book though aimed at children is sophisticated and deals with a lot of important issues. I hope DiCamillo's whimsical writing translated into the film.
- Get yourself comfy. You can't read properly if your mind is cluttered with thoughts of how this spot is uncomfortable or if you're hungry or thirsty etc.
- Read :) At your own pace and enjoy the book.
Lessons & tips:
- Pick a book you've always wanted to read. Being interested in the book will keep you glued to the pages which is what you need to complete this goal.
