How I did it: Through one of the branches of the company I work for. One town requires a certain number of employees to be certified per amount of seats in the store. So, we had a gentleman come in an teach us the ways. He works as a mentor through a local foster care program & is also licensed to teach/train CPR and first aid. You can also go to your local Red Cross to find information on classes and courses.

Lessons & tips: Listen and don't be afraid to ask questions. It's an easy course, but a very serious thing. When you become certified, you are then required to perform to the best of your ability in an emergency situation.
