How I did it: I just sat down one day and pulled out the red fabric I had for making a gris-gris. I hand stitched a drawstring bag (flannel) and put my treasures inside; my own hair, some charms and talismans, personal items.
It is a nice feeling to sit down and stitch something by hand once in a while. Very soothing, very earthy. It reminds me of doing projects with my great-grandmother or my mom.
