How to paint something
How I did it: I broke out the acrylics, and sketched out a design. Then I mixed colors and painted! I persevered and worked with basic colors and basic shapes. I wanted something that could have a significance greater than what is seen immediately, and I think I accomplished that. I know it's basic, but there are nuances. The purple square casts no shadow, for instance. It is singular. It is away from the group.
Lessons & tips: Don't start a project and then put if off for weeks. It's hard to pick it up after procrastinating for too long!
Resources: Brushes. Paint. Newspaper. paper towel. Glass jars and so on.
