How to dress better

Yep, yep

You’re quite right – if you don’t love it on, don’t buy it! And while I agree about not buying a lot of crap, it’s also good to develop an eye for spotting bargains, that is, quality pieces that don’t thin your purse. I guess it depends what kind of “look” you’re going for, but I find people who don’t follow fashion, figure out what looks good on them AND manage to make it artsy rather than safe and boring real leaders. But we all have our preferences!

I just found that for me, I needed to start out with some safe basics before I could really get a feel for what worked for me and what didn’t. After a little practice, you can definitely move more into crazier stuff and bargain hunting. Gotta love those estate sales! Nowdays you’ll see me in a little white dress and knee-high boots with a collar. LOL! It just took me awhile to find my groove. Its almost like riding a bike at times. Sometimes it takes awhile before you can take off the training wheels and just run with it.

Hehe, I like the sound of that outfit and the bike analogy. I’d fallen off the bike more than once before I could “run with it”. And I’ll probably fall again and start heading another way.

Kat has gotten 4 cheers on this entry.
