How to give up caffeine

How I did it: I used to be a major caffeine junky. Never drank coffee but simply couldn't live without my daily gallon of Diet Pepsi. As a narcoleptic I figured I needed it... but I was wrong. I actually have A LOT more energy now.
The key for me was to go cold turkey and switch to nothing but water. In the past I had always tried to switch to things like Crystal Light which contain artificial sweeteners. As far as I can tell, those types of beverages only exacerbated the withdrawal symptoms. By drinking only water, I only felt bad the first day.
Been caffeine free now for over a year!
