How I did it: I went to Spain and lived there for 6 months whilst working as an Au-pair. I learnt some spanish, but definitely not as much as I would have liked. I love the country, the culture and the language. I never expected to be in Spain this year, but life gives you endless, unexpected opportunities. Take everyone you can get.
