How to identify 5 wildflowers on a hike this spring. by Katie77

"I discovered drought-tolerant flowers to plant in my yard."

How I did it: They were listed in a water-wise booklet, recommending flowers for the area.  Mexican Primrose is a beautiful, light pink, prolific, smiling flower that loves this climate. Looking forward to having them in my landscape.

Also discovered 2 new varieties of drought tolerant wildflowers; saltillo primrose and green santolina.
