How I did it: Basically one day my fiance at the time and I decided together that marriage was the answer to our problems which were: being away from each other, being lonely, needing money to live on our own, wanting to liveon our own, etc etc.

I flew out to Washington and we got married on March 14th, 2009.

Lessons & tips: Make sure the person is trustworthy and everything you need as well as want. Think of it as a business transaction. If they aren't a good partner or not a good teammate, then it won't work out very well.
