How to put flowers outside my windows

How I did it: I was considering pelargonias, but at the end I chose petunias, cause beside of being pretty the smell nice.
I have 1m long brown window box full of white and dark violet petunias. I really like them, they make me smile.
My mother helped me to chose flowers and box.
