How I did it: i figured i was a 34C because that's what i was in college. then i saw some oprah episode where she told the females of the world that they were probably wearing the wrong bra. i didn't believe it but i was curious.

lo and behold -- i passed by a shop on the upper west side called brasmythe and on a lark, i went inside and got measured. surprise -- i'm a 36DD.

Yikes.

Lessons & tips: like everything in life, seek the help and counsel of a professional. there's a ton of lingerie shops out there, filled with helpful little old ladies that still call bras "brassieries" and who will measure you with tape measures and everything.
