How to learn calligraphy
How I did it: Well, you can't really say that you have done this because there are always, and i mean always things to practice or to learn or invite or...
last year, i got a book on calligraphy and i decided to try and learn it. i bought pen sets (on ebay they are not so horribly expensive) and dedicated a notebook only for this. Also, in the meanwhile, i've signed up for a japanese calligrapy course. That provided the basics, but learning further would cost me a fortune, so i decided to learn by myself, bought a set for that too, and began practising on my own. They are very good when you want to escape your running life a bit, because they require great attention, different thinking, a whole new way of attitude to the smallest things like letters and characters.
the best stress-reliever of all times.
Lessons & tips: try find courses, for beginners, they are not so expensive
