How to finish college
How I did it: I took 15 hours worth of CLEP tests before starting college so I wouldn't have to take basic history courses. My third and fourth semesters, I took 18 hours both semesters, and then the following summer I took 6 hours. All this extra work allowed me to graduate a year early with a degree in history and minor in English.
Lessons & tips: Find out what core classes are required in your major; chances are you can test out of them through CLEP. Just go to http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/clep/exams.html to see the complete list of what's offered. Take 18 hours your first couple of semesters when you're taking lower-level courses, and always take summer classes!
