How to find my happy weight and celebrate with a new wardrobe!
How I did it: I'm following a totally whole-foods approach to eating, which means removing a lot of unhealthy foods, including sugar, coffee, white flour/pasta, yeast........ Over time this process has cut my cravings drastically (I used to have a major sweet tooth). But now, I loooove cooking, I eat tons of veggies, my skin looks amazing, I have so much energy, it's a breeze to get up in the morning, no more headaches, less stress.... the list is neverending. Oh, and I also lost weight! Which means now I have to buy some new clothes ~ yay!
Lessons & tips: Perseverance. It really pays off in the end.
Resources: My own naturopath, as well as books on the subject. I am addicted to th moosewood cookbooks and another cookbook called "what to eat when you can't eat anything" - also farmers markets and nicer supermarkets, like whole foods, where you can get things like spelt bread.....
