How I did it: I went on a marching band trip to florida and my boyfriend's high school also went. we were in the same section, so we ended up sitting and standing (but mostly sitting) by each other for practice and performance and we really hit it off. I asked him if he had a facebook (cause I'm that lame) and he gave me his name, so I looked him up when i got back to the hotel that night. A few months later my friend got sick of me talking about wanting to ask this guy out and texted him to tell him I like him. Then we went out one night and he asked me to be his girlfriend.

- be yourself
- ask for their number, not facebook, it makes them think you're not very interested
