How I did it: Traveled with nine of my classmates to Beijing, Qinhuangdao, and Shanghai. Studied International Relations at Renmin Univeristy for 3 weeks and Yanshan University for a week.
Lessons & tips: Go off the beaten path! Travel to an original section of the Great Wall, it's so much more rewarding than a rebuilt one.
