How I did it: I'm a huge hockey fan and my friend was on the Blackhawks website and saw that they had an open practice that we could go to on a day we didn't have school. These practices were open to the public and about 20 minutes away from where I live. The anticipation was killing me but a month later I was watching my favorite hockey team practice. Even better, they had more practices I got to go to. Even better, they stay afterwards and sign autographs. I got roughly 40 of them in total from seven practices, including Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews on more than one occasion. They are famous to me and I would much rather meet them than a movie star so as far as I'm concerned, goal accomplished.
