How to take horse riding lessons
How I did it: I found out that two of my friends were also interested in going, but neither of them wanted to go on their own so we arranged to go together to our local Equestrian Centre. We took weekly lessons and shared lifts so we were less likely to miss a week. We did have a few falls but got straight back up & redid the jump or whatever caused the fall so that our confidence wasn't knocked. Its been great and I think we'll keep it up.
Lessons & tips: Go to a professional horse-riding school. Keep your heels down and sit back as soon as you land after a jump, before you try to steer. When you fall off, dust yourself off and jump straight back up & redo the jump / course. If you delay, you'll lose your nerve.
