How to learn autocad

How I did it: There was a step-by-step book at school and I had to finished it. It's very easy to get on with the basics, but there's much more to learn to improve the productivity. Yet this is the dilemma of whether to invest extra to make potentially beneficial marginal improvements.
Lessons & tips: I would like to learn more about meaningful drafting tools, such as ArchiCAD, or Inventor, or at least AutoCAD Civil 3D.
