I agree.
It is good to have a credit card to help build your credit. You do want to make sure that the card has no annual fee, and that you always pay it on time.

How I did it: I went in to pull out some money from my 1 day old checking account. "Do you have a credit card with us yet? Low interest rates for students...." blah blah blah blah. I was about to say no thanks, not right now, but she started asking me questions and before I knew it I had a credit card.
Lessons & tips: Be cautious. Make sure you understand everything fully before you get yourself into something. Credit is fine, you need it, but make sure you take care of it.
