How to be happy
"Life is worth it now. The best I have felt in five years!:)!"
How I did it: I cant exactly pinpoint the catalyst. The point in my life when I decided I might as well make the best of what I have.
I think it was around December. I realised I was living without my family for five years and had not many friends and was told be my friend that she was sick of me not being happy and always being moody.
Lessons & tips:
- Fake it till you make it. It works and gradually builds up your happiness
- Find something you love. A hobby or sport. Whatever gets you going in the morning
- Set a goal. Try mini goals. Vary them. When they are achieved celebrate them
- Find friends. They are trully the only thing that makes you *ecstatic*
- Listen to uplifting music. This works.
- Imagine the person you want to be. The happy you.
- Dont let yourself fall into the depressed mindset. If you do cry, write about it or do something that distracts you eg reading, swimming
