How I did it: I bought a set of juggling balls and read the techniques listed on an enclosed sheet. Whether I could squeeze in five minutes of practice or fifteen, I did my best to work on it every day. By taking it in small steps, I was able to progress over three weeks until I felt truly comfortable juggling for a long period of time.
Lessons & tips: Finding instructions (whether written or visual) is a helpful move.
It's also helpful to practice a little bit every day. Something you were struggling with the night before can suddenly feel easier the next day.
