How to stop drinking diet Coke
It made me
feel alright 
"Finally reached the conclusion that pure H2O rocks."
How I did it: I just stopped drinking coke gradually, and next thing I know I was only drinking water.
I'll still have it every now and then with whiskey or rum, but it stopped being a substitute for water for me.
Lessons & tips: Exercise. After you exercise you don't feel like having anything but water to drink. Do this daily and you'll get (re)accustomed to the taste of water, slowly forgetting about the coke.
